mixed-tape mondays: coming or going?

Today was a not-quite-sure kind of day.  I packaged up a few custom orders, but couldn't get started on the next round.  I got some good news, and then some bad news.  The world might be falling apart at the seams, but then people get together and do lovely things.  New England is having a snowstorm on the first day of spring|, but that means the sap will run for a bit longer and my family might get another sugaring weekend.

It's about time for me to be getting ready for the big event this May, but I just can't seem to find the balance and motivation to move forward.  If you've got any get-out-of-a-funk cures, please share!

A trip to Boston to relieve the funk? I seem to have the opposite problems - motivation but no time. We should split the difference.

Sunshine and a little warmth *will* come eventually and they will do wonders for your energy and momentum. We had a few days of slightly warmer weather here and I felt completely reenergized. I'm with Shelley right now, though - plenty of motivation, but needing about 16 more hours in every day...

oof, I have the same problem lately. My new technique at work is to buy myself flowers when I need some motivation and a little pick-me-up... and then I have to complete at least one task for each bloom in the vase. Will we see you when you're here in May? xoxo

Oh no poor you - I hope the week has picked up by now and the snow is beginning to melt. When I'm feeling the lows, I tend to have a good tidy up, and nice cuppa tea and a biscuit - then some sort of power song to get me going - really loud - usually works!! (especially the tea and biscuit!)
